About The Position

An Industrial Journeyman Painter/Blaster will paint equipment and structures for protection and cosmetic purposes. The position will also be required to maintain, mix, and have thorough knowledge of paint and other coating material so that to ensure the equipment or structure is painted and protected as per contract or specifications. Must have experience spray painting, operating sandblasting equipment and fireproof applicating.

Requirements

• Must be able to read blueprints, sketches, or building plans.
• Must have all Knowledge Skills and Abilities required.
• Must be able to meet all physical requirements.
• Must have all required tools.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Experience spray painting.
• Experience operating sandblasting equipment.
• Experience with fireproof application.

Responsibilities

• Paint equipment and structures for protection and cosmetic purposes.
• Maintain, mix, and have thorough knowledge of paint and other coating materials.
• Ensure equipment or structure is painted and protected as per contract or specifications.
• Assist other crafts while not actively working on a painting project.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations.
