About The Position
As a paint operator you will be responsible for painting, sanding. cleaning, and preparing parts for painting. Composite Technician Responsibilities include: Painting parts to customer specifications, Cleaning and maintaining painting equipment and area, Sanding, cleaning, and preparing parts for painting, Masking of non-painted surfaces, Paint mixing, Operating automated downdraft spray booth, paint application equipment and fresh air systems.
Requirements
- Knowledge of applying adhesives, fillers and primers.
- Familiar with mixing ratios.
- Ability to use basic paint prep tools, including sanders.
- Ability to comprehend and follow written specifications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent hand dexterity and coordination.
- Ability to maintain a clean & organized environment.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
