The Paint Line Operator will be required to load and unload parts on paint line conveyor: mix paints, touch-up parts and operate paint burn-off equipment.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent GED required.
Must have the ability to work with moderate to heavy weight materials.

Nice To Haves

Manufacturing/production environment experience desired but not required.
Forklift operation experience desired but not required.

Responsibilities

Mix paints and visually inspect parts for proper viscosity.
Read all shop orders, hang proper tags, and identify parts.
Load/unload parts up to 50 lbs on conveyor line.
Use computer to clock/transfer shop orders.
Maintain records with accurate piece count.
Maintain quality and quantity standards.
Visually inspect and gage work for quality.
Keep work area clean and orderly and maintain proper care of equipment.
Maintain good communication with production supervisors, machine operators, managers, and other support personnel.
Be a positive team contributor who works well with all team members.
Participate in training activities, both on and off site.
Work safely by following all safety policies, procedures and actively participate in all site safety programs.
Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities.
