About The Position

The Paint Line Loader/Unloader is responsible for loading parts onto and unloading parts from a conveyorized paint or powder coating line. This position also packages finished products for shipment, ensuring materials are handled safely and efficiently while meeting quality, production, and customer requirements.

  • Frequent lifting, carrying, and handling of parts up to 50 pounds.
  • Repetitive use of hands, arms, and shoulders.
  • Ability to bend, twist, reach, and stoop frequently.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, and moving equipment.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing, paint line, powder coating, or assembly experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Load metal or manufactured parts onto paint line hooks, racks, or conveyors.
  • Unload finished parts from the paint line and place them in designated containers, pallets, or staging areas.
  • Package finished parts according to customer and company specifications, including wrapping, boxing, labeling, and palletizing products for shipment.
  • Verify parts are properly positioned to ensure complete coating coverage and prevent damage during processing.
  • Inspect coated parts for defects such as runs, scratches, contamination, thin coverage, or other quality concerns.
  • Maintain a consistent flow of product through the paint line to meet production schedules.
  • Assist with masking, plugging, labeling, packaging, and material handling as required.
  • Ensure packaged products are accurately counted, identified, and protected from damage during storage and transportation.
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of hooks, racks, and work areas.
  • Report quality issues, equipment malfunctions, and safety concerns to supervisors.
  • Follow all safety regulations, quality standards, and work instructions.
  • Assist with line changeovers and other production-related tasks as needed.
  • Maintain accurate production, packaging, and quality records when required.
