About The Position
We're looking for a Paint Line Operator who takes pride in producing quality work and supporting efficient production operations. In this hands-on role, you'll identify and prepare components for painting, load and unload products throughout the paint process, inspect finished parts for quality, and ensure materials move efficiently through the paint line. You'll play a key role in maintaining product quality, safety, and workflow across the operation.
Requirements
- Consistently follows safety procedures and demonstrates safe work practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrates attention to detail by accurately identifying, preparing, and inspecting products throughout the paint process.
- Effectively manages time and priorities to maintain production flow and meet scheduling requirements.
- Works well in a team environment and communicates clearly with coworkers and supervisors.
Responsibilities
- Correctly identify products and components by customer, part number, and color requirements to ensure accurate processing.
- Load and unload components and finished products from pallets, carts, conveyors, and paint line equipment.
- Prepare components for painting by properly hanging parts and applying plugs, grease, masking, and other required materials.
- Inspect painted products for quality issues such as broken plugs, missing components, paint coverage concerns, or other defects.
