2nd Shift Paint Line Associate - Pay Starting at $20.21/hour
About The Position
As a Paint Line Associate, you will be part of our production team located in Hesston, KS. Your role will involve the metal finishing of materials using powered hand tools prior to delivery to the customer. You will also be responsible for loading and unloading parts, setting up bars and hooks for hanging parts, unloading parts from the paint line with care, identifying and labeling parts before stocking, and off-loading, organizing, accumulating, and delivering parts. A key aspect of this role is inspecting parts for compliance with quality standards and maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and the achievement of specific objectives.
Requirements
- High School/GED Diploma
- Able to follow standard work as trained by a supervisor or OpEx lead
- Use of hand tools: grinders, DA, sanders, etc.
- Use of jib cranes or hoists
Responsibilities
- Metal finishing of materials using powered hand tools prior to delivery to customer.
- Load and unload parts by hand or with the use of a jib crane or hoist.
- Set up bars and hooks for hanging parts, keeping proper spacing.
- Unload parts from paint line using care to protect painted surfaces.
- Identify and label parts before stocking.
- Off-load, organize, accumulate and deliver parts.
- Inspect parts for compliance to quality standards.
- Focus on safety, quality, and achievement of specific/exact objectives.
