About The Position
Groomer’s Best is looking for a dependable and motivated Paint & Fabrication Tech to join our growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will help produce custom stainless-steel products used by veterinarians, pet groomers, distributors, and outdoor customers across the country. This is a great opportunity for someone with fabrication experience or a mechanically inclined individual who wants to learn and grow in a skilled trade environment. Nice To Haves
- Previous fabrication, manufacturing, or metalworking experience
- Experience operating fabrication tools or machinery such as: Brake Press, Sanders, Cold Saw, Welders, Iron Worker Machines, Grinders
- Basic welding experience
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment and processes
Responsibilities
- Operating fabrication equipment such as press brakes, sanders, saws, grinders, and welding equipment
- Cutting, sanding, grinding, and preparing stainless-steel materials for assembly
- Bending and forming parts using brake press equipment
- Reading work instructions and following production specifications accurately
- Assisting with welding and fabrication tasks as needed
- Inspecting parts for quality and accuracy before moving to assembly
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Working closely with team members to meet daily production goals
- Following all shop safety procedures and quality standards
