About The Position

Volt is immediately hiring Fabrication Techs on the west side of El Paso, TX. As a Fabrication Technician, you will: Forms, cuts and pierces metals to form fabricated assembly units Will use a wide variety of hand tools, air tools and measuring equipment Will operate fabrication machinery using digital – electronic controls Operates spray painting equipment and moderately complex welding equipment This is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity!

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-3 years previous Fabrication experience
• Experience reading prints and schematics
• Ability to work independently
• Expertise with basic hand tools, air tools, gages and torque wrenches required
• Good hand eye coordination and excellent natural or corrected vision
• Understanding of electrical principles and UL Requirements is highly desired
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Ability to work Overtime is required
