About The Position

We are seeking a Pain Medicine Physician for a locum tenens position in Elkins, WV. This role involves providing comprehensive pain management services in both outpatient clinic and hospital settings. The physician will perform a variety of fluoroscopically and ultrasound-guided procedures, manage a patient caseload of approximately 15 patients per day, and collaborate with available support staff. This is a clinical-only coverage position for a period of approximately three months.

Requirements

• WV License, IMLC or providers that qualify for the temp WV
• Board Certified in Pain Medicine (or eligible)
• DEA Required
• Pain Fellowship (accredited)
• 5 years minimum in Pain Medicine
• Hospital Privileges Required

Nice To Haves

• Experience with intrathecal pumps

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pain management services in outpatient clinic and hospital setting.
• Perform fluoroscopically guided spinal injections including cervical, thoracic, and lumbar epidural steroid injections.
• Perform medial branch blocks, radiofrequency ablations, and facet joint injections.
• Conduct ultrasound-guided injections and procedures.
• Manage patient caseload of approximately 15 patients per day, including follow-up and treatment planning.
