About The Position

This is a strictly clinical, non-procedural role for a fellowship-trained Pain Medicine specialist to join a rapidly expanding Tampa-based group. The physician will focus on comprehensive medical management in an acute inpatient setting, leading and working alongside a team of APPs. The role involves inpatient rounding and developing individualized medical treatment plans, with no procedures required. The position emphasizes a multi-disciplinary, narrative-driven approach to patient care.

Requirements

• Fellowship-trained Pain Medicine specialist
• Roots in PM&R or Anesthesiology
• Understanding of multi-disciplinary, narrative-driven approach to patient care
• Ability to focus on comprehensive medical management
• Clinical expertise in complex clinical needs

Responsibilities

• Lead and work alongside a team of APPs in a high-volume inpatient environment.
• Focus on inpatient rounding in acute settings.
• Develop sophisticated, individualized medical treatment plans.
• Provide comprehensive medical management rather than interventional procedures.
