Physician Assistant opportunity with growing Orthopedic practice. Responsibility will be split between Pain Management and general Orthopedics. Manage both acute and chronic injury patients in office. Travel to satellite offices for Orthopedic Group based in Atlanta. The PA will work autonomously, so experience is required. An Orthopedic Surgeon and Anesthesiologist are available for phone questions but not in the office each day. This role involves managing Personal Injury and Work-related injury patients, with 70% of patients presenting with spine/back injuries. The PA will see up to 25 patients each day. Office hours are 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, with the last patient scheduled at 3:45 PM. Travel between multiple local offices is required. The PA will be supported by 1-2 MAs for patient care and procedure setup. Procedures include trigger point injections, joint (shoulder, knee, hip) injections, and PRP injections. The EMR system is eclinical works. A C arm is available in the office for spine injections. An Interventional Pain Management Anesthesiologist will visit the office several times each month for procedures. The PA will complete physical exams and histories, order diagnostic testing, refer to Physical Therapy, refer to the Anesthesiologist for injection or ablation, and refer to an Orthopedic Surgeon for surgical evaluation.
