About The Position
Direct Orthopedic Care (DOC) is seeking a motivated and compassionate Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP) to join and help expand our non-opioid pain management practice. Our approach focuses on interventional procedures, physical therapy, and lifestyle modification to improve guest function and quality of life. This role offers a collaborative, supportive environment with access to in-house imaging (X-ray, ultrasound), physical therapy services, and orthopedic specialists. The APP will work closely with a pain management physician while also enjoying autonomy to develop and grow their own guest panel.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an NP or PA in one of the following areas: Primary Care, Orthopedics, Neurology, Spine, Pain Management
- Current NP or PA board certification
- Active Texas license (or eligibility)
- Proficiency with EMR systems and general computer skills
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive guest evaluations, including medical history and physical examinations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on non-opioid pain management
- Order and interpret diagnostic imaging, laboratory tests, and specialty referrals as appropriate
- Recommend and coordinate interventional procedures for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes
- Perform in-office procedures, including: Peripheral joint injections, Nerve blocks, Trigger point injections
- Utilize ultrasound guidance for precision and safety
- Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other team members to optimize guest outcomes
- Educate guests on treatment plans, lifestyle modifications, and expectations for recovery
