The Team Leader establishes, administers, and directs the Program of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT), a self-contained clinical team which assumes responsibility for directly providing needed treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to identified clients with a serious psychiatric illness. The role involves supervising and evaluating the multi-disciplinary team, ensuring service excellence, and potentially functioning as a practicing clinician. Key responsibilities include ensuring billing standards, contract specifications, and program regulations are adhered to, and that programs meet high quality standards. The Team Leader may collaborate with the funding agency on programmatic decisions. The role directly manages day-to-day clinical operations, staff scheduling, daily meetings, and client needs assessment. It also oversees client admission, treatment planning, and comprehensive client assessments covering various aspects of their lives. Staff management, including recruitment, hiring, and performance supervision, is a core function, along with developing PACT-specific orientation. Budget management, including rental subsidies and contingency funds, is also required. Additional duties include client record supervision, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations, managing adverse events, overseeing quality improvement, providing on-call support, building community relationships, conducting clinical assessments, and maintaining staff knowledge. The position also ensures site safety and performs other related duties as needed.
