The PACT Representative I role is within the Enterprise Corporate - Patient Access & Care department, specifically for NC/GA Operations. This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. The primary function is to act as a liaison between the PACT (Patient Access & Care Team) and practice sites, ensuring a seamless patient experience. This involves assisting inbound callers, making outbound calls when necessary, and troubleshooting basic technical issues related to online applications and systems. The role also includes scheduling patient appointments, coordinating cancellations and reschedules, obtaining and verifying demographic and insurance information, and ensuring accuracy in the medical record. A key responsibility is identifying emergent calls and escalating them appropriately, adhering to guidelines for emergency situations and critical call handling. The representative will determine patient needs, routing them for triage, scheduling, medication refill requests, or provider paging. Providing excellent customer service, as measured by post-call surveys, is essential. This includes asking clarifying questions, presenting options, and escalating complex issues. The role also supports organizational marketing efforts through information provision and database updates. Maintaining knowledge of and efficient use of all information systems is crucial.
