The PACT Representative I role is within the Enterprise Corporate - Patient Access & Care department, specifically for the NC/GA Operations team. This is a full-time position with benefits eligible status, requiring 40 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. The pay range for this position is $21.85 - $32.80 per hour. The primary function of this role is to act as a liaison between the PACT (Patient Access & Care Team) and practice sites, ensuring a seamless patient experience. This involves assisting inbound callers, making outbound calls when necessary, and utilizing critical thinking skills to resolve issues. The representative will also perform basic technical troubleshooting for online applications and systems, schedule patient appointments, coordinate cancellations and reschedules, and obtain/verify demographic and insurance information. Accuracy in updating medical records and identifying emergent calls for immediate transfer to a Registered Nurse are crucial. The role requires adherence to emergency protocols and effective handling of critical calls. Additionally, the PACT Representative I will determine patient needs, route them appropriately for triage, scheduling, or provider paging, and provide excellent customer service as measured by post-call surveys. They will also assist with organizational marketing efforts, maintain databases, and ensure efficient utilization of all information systems. This position may involve additional duties based on department needs.
