Requirements

Valid New Jersey Registered Nurse's License or an Advanced Degree for Nursing Specialists
Two years of experience working with individuals facing chronic mental illness
Familiarity with community resources and agencies is crucial for providing holistic support.
Willingness to accept on-call rotation and work as part of a team
Possession of a valid New Jersey driver's license with a clean five-year driving record that meets organizational standards and qualifies for insurance coverage.
Background Check is required
Clear Five year driving record/abstract with ability to be insured by organizations carrier.

Responsibilities

Conducting comprehensive nursing assessments—both at program entry and annually—to evaluate mental health symptoms and behaviors related to prescribed medications.
Meticulously monitor individuals for any side effects while enhancing their understanding of medication benefits and promoting compliance.
Oversee the monthly inventory of medications and medical supplies.
Prepare the medical agenda for the upcoming month.
Manage medication orders and administration.
Provide supportive counseling and psychoeducation.
Empower individuals to master their symptoms and disabilities, making a profound difference in their lives while fostering resilience and independence in the community.
