About The Position

As a part of the Retail Slicing Support Team, this position will be required to keep pace with production. This position will be required to make the boxes up, label, fill, and seal each case of bacon according to the customer’s specifications. This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only. Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.

Requirements

Must not have a written warning or a suspension in the last 1 year.
Must be in current role for 6 months (180 days) unless position a promotion.
Must have 4 attendance points or less.
Must be willing and able to perform the tasks associated with this position and required work schedule, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be willing and able to demonstrate the knowledge, skill, and ability required to perform this job with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be willing and able to understand and complete job-related instructions and documentation in order to perform assigned tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be willing and able to lift up to 24 pounds in order to perform assigned job tasks.
Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.

Responsibilities

Follow all Tyson safety policies including, but not limited to, Lock-Out Tag-Out.
Wear all Personal Protective Equipment deemed necessary by Tyson Leadership.
Make labels, and stage materials, in their work area for the production day.
Weigh bacon to the set standard of our customer’s specifications.
Fill boxes with bacon to a predetermined weight, seal the box, and place it on the pallet.
Follow USDA, Tyson GMP, and Tyson Sanitation policies to ensure the utmost safety of our products.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
Ensure each box produced meets customer’s standards.
Additional tasks may be assigned to Team Member by Tyson Leadership when necessary.
