About The Position

The Packing Supervisor will oversee packing operations, ensuring production orders are completed accurately and efficiently according to established processes and ISO requirements. This role involves supervising a team, maintaining quality standards, managing inventory, and ensuring a safe work environment. The supervisor will also be responsible for employee management, including training, disciplinary actions, and performance evaluation. This position requires strong communication skills, punctuality, excellent attendance, and the physical ability to perform demanding tasks in various environmental conditions.

Requirements

  • Must be bilingual (English & Spanish) to communicate clearly in English and translating in Spanish both written and verbal.
  • Must be U.S. citizen or at minimum authorized to work in the United States (unrestricted and without Sponsorship).
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervising experience in manufacturing production environment.
  • Working experience in a manufacturing facility, preferably in a production packing environment.
  • Must have reliable transportation and arrive on time or as scheduled.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must possess a H.S. diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
  • Must have excellent attendance and work ethic.
  • Commute to multiple company facilities and personnel, as needed.
  • Must be willing to engage in self-learning keeping up with industry trends, safety, and company information, as needed or as scheduled, including extended hours.

Responsibilities

  • Review work order instructions and complete production orders per processes.
  • Review quality of extrusion products (i.e.: length, surface, dents, defects, etc.) addressing any discrepancies found per procedures and working with the quality department.
  • Evaluate PPE and safe work practices, and performance of all subordinate team members, upholding Company standards and policies.
  • Properly document and complete any required paperwork per the processes and policies as required.
  • Evaluate all packing production processes in operation and of the packing team members, following ISO requirements.
  • Identify and notify maintenance of production equipment malfunctions to be addressed.
  • Ensure quality measures are followed throughout the packing process.
  • Conduct disciplinary actions and corrective actions.
  • Lead, direct, motivate and train all employees (employee management).
  • Measure production of packing output to work orders.
  • Monitor and review packing data and identify trends.
  • Monitor and maintain all supplies inventory and usage to place orders in advance.
  • Assist in the training of all new hires and continued training to all employees, in English and in Spanish.
  • Collaborate and communicate with other Intex Management using company emails and phone communication methods regarding company business.
