The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for developing and achieving maintenance goals and objectives, ensuring repairs are completed efficiently to minimize downtime, and driving preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives. This role requires the ability to perform and train employees on various maintenance tasks, including inspecting and testing machinery, dismantling and installing parts, programming and repairing automated equipment, and troubleshooting and repairing electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. The supervisor must also establish strong working relationships with other departments, exhibit a strong sense of urgency in problem-solving through root cause analysis, and adhere to safety protocols including wearing required PPE. The position involves various physical movements for extended periods and may require working in extreme temperatures.
