About The Position

SARSTEDT is hiring a Packing & Interim Warehouse Leadperson to lead its Packing and Interim Warehouse department. The role ensures accurate and timely material flow, maintains inventory, and provides components to support secondary processing operations. It oversees daily work in Packing, the I-Point, and the Interim Warehouse, including shift-efficiency KPIs and 5S process improvements. The leadperson also directly leads four employees. SARSTEDT develops, manufactures, and distributes devices and consumables for medicine and scientific applications. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
1–3 months of related experience and/or training.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
Ability to obtain a forklift license.
Ability to meet physical demands, including standing, walking, reaching, bending, and regularly lifting or moving up to 25 pounds.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.
Basic math skills, including working with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, use sound judgment, and resolve routine problems.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily activities in Packing, the I-Point, and the Interim Warehouse, including shift-efficiency KPIs and 5S process improvements.
Package and label products according to priorities and assignments from the Packing Supervisor.
Verify product quality and documentation before final packaging.
Receive, maintain, organize, and manage inventory in the Interim Warehouse.
Pick and stage products to meet operational demand.
Ensure proper use and operation of equipment and coordinate supplies as needed.
Follow safety regulations and promptly report unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
Directly lead four employees, including training, assigning work, addressing complaints, and resolving problems in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
