About The Position
Industrial Supply is hiring a Packing Lead to oversee daily packing operations. The role ensures customer orders are packed accurately, efficiently, and on time while leading and supporting the packing team and maintaining a safe, organized, and positive work environment. The position works closely with the Warehouse Manager and other teams to meet company goals.
Requirements
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to motivate employees and lead by example.
- Basic math skills and familiarity with warehouse scanners.
- Ability to lift 30+ pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn and support continuous improvement.
Nice To Haves
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and motivate the packing team.
- Oversee daily workflow and ensure orders are packed accurately and on time.
- Monitor productivity, quality, and team performance.
- Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and coverage needs.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and processes.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations.
- Address quality concerns and promote a safe work environment.
- Work closely with the Warehouse Manager and other teams to meet company goals.
