About The Position
This position is responsible for ensuring product safety and quality through various tasks related to packing and line operation. The role requires adherence to safety policies, monitoring product quality, and performing manual labor associated with the production line. Employees are expected to maintain a clean work environment and follow all job-related instructions from supervisors.
Requirements
- Ability to work with 30-40 lb. materials.
Responsibilities
- Ensure product safety and quality.
- Promote a safe working environment.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Monitor ware for quality defects and report issues.
- Pack at standard rate.
- Operate a punch.
- Load conveyors and flamers.
- Practice housekeeping on assigned line(s) and around machines.
- Remove scrap from around the line.
- Grind and pull plastic as needed.
- Make and unitize cartons.
- Initial and date box labels.
- Make out unit tickets.
- Perform other assigned duties by the Supervisor.
- Work with 30-40 lb. materials.
