Requirements

  • 1 or more years of experience in a manufacturing, packaging or production environment (required)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet productivity standards.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality and accuracy.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work assigned shifts, including overtime when required
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time (up to 12 hours per shift).
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions, including grasping, reaching, bending, and lifting.
  • Ability to lift up to 35-40 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to work around moving mechanical equipment and conveyor systems.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • Understanding of Key Performance Indicators (preferred)
  • Mechanical skills and previous forklift operator knowledge are nice to have.
  • Manual labor experience in non temperature controlled environment (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Operate filling and packaging equipment to ensure product is filled accurately and within specified weight, volume, and quality tolerances.
  • Inspect filled containers for proper seal, label placement, fill level, and cap integrity; remove and report any non-conforming product.
  • Pack finished goods into cases or secondary packaging per established pack-out specifications and counts.
  • Build, stack, and wrap pallets to facility standards; ensure pallets are stable, correctly labeled, and staged for warehouse transfer.
  • Perform line changeovers and product transitions, including equipment adjustments, label changes, and line clearance procedures.
  • Execute hourly line checks, weight verifications, and quality inspections; accurately complete all required production documentation and logs.
  • Monitor and maintain supply of packaging materials at the line including containers, caps, labels, cases, and stretch wrap; communicate shortages to the line lead.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized; follow 5S standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) at all times.
  • Adhere to all safety policies including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE requirements, and chemical handling procedures.
  • Communicate line issues, quality concerns, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards to the shift supervisor or line lead promptly.
  • Support team members across the filling department as directed; demonstrate flexibility to rotate between line positions as production needs require.
