About The Position

The Packer Operator is a front-line member of Land O’Lakes, Inc.’s manufacturing team in its Purina Animal Nutrition business. The role supports production by operating machinery and equipment, processing raw materials, and packaging final products while maintaining product quality and safety. The position involves working in a fast-paced production environment and following standard operating procedures and instructions from Leads and Management.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• At least 1 year of work experience in any industry.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve, and troubleshoot.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, and respectful conduct.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of manufacturing work experience.
• Machine operation experience and/or forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety processes and promote safe practices for self and others.
• Arrive on time, complete tasks by deadlines, and adapt quickly to changes.
• Multitask and keep up with production demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow quality standards and standard operating procedures during production.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Collaborate with and follow instructions from Leads and Management to complete daily work assignments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
