About The Position

This role involves loading patties according to department specifications, identifying products that do not meet standards, and sliding packed patties onto a conveyor line. The position requires maintaining clean patty lines, removing doubles, setting up the work area with necessary equipment, and performing minor equipment maintenance. Additionally, the role includes monitoring the production area for cleanliness, performing assigned tasks, and cleaning the work area at the end of the production shift, which may involve sweeping and spraying work areas. This position is for the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, with possible Saturdays, and pays $21.70/hr. The work environment involves temperatures of 35 degrees Fahrenheit or less for a minimum of 8 hours.

Requirements

Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
Willing and able to work on and around machinery and chemicals.
Willing and able to perform tasks for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.
Willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit for a minimum of 8 hours.

Responsibilities

Load patties within department specifications.
Recognize product that may not meet standards.
Slide packed patties onto conveyor line.
Keep fresh scrap patties off the line.
Keep patties lines even and take doubles off the line.
Set up area with all needed equipment.
Perform minor maintenance on equipment.
Monitor production area for trash and food debris on floor.
Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead Person, Supervisor or Superintendent.
All other duties as assigned.
Clean up area at end of production shift, including but not limited to sweeping, picking up debris from the floor, and spraying work areas.
