About The Position

This position involves loading patties according to department specifications, identifying products that do not meet standards, and sliding packed patties onto a conveyor line. The role also requires keeping the line clear of scrap patties, managing patty lines for evenness, and removing doubles. Additionally, the Packer/Scrapper will set up their work area with necessary equipment, perform minor equipment maintenance, and monitor the production area for cleanliness. All other duties as assigned by leads, supervisors, or superintendents are also part of the role. End-of-shift cleanup, including sweeping and spraying work areas, is mandatory.

Requirements

Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
Willing and able to work on and around machinery and chemicals.
Willing and able to perform tasks for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.
Willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit for a minimum of 8 hours.

Responsibilities

Load patties within department specifications.
Recognize product that may not meet standards.
Slide packed patties onto conveyor line.
Keep fresh scrap patties off the line.
Keep patties lines even and take doubles off the line.
Set up area with all needed equipment.
Perform minor maintenance on equipment.
Monitor production area for trash and food debris on floor.
Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead Person, Supervisor or Superintendent.
Clean up area at end of production shift, including sweeping, picking up debris from the floor, and spraying work areas.
