About The Position

The position will be responsible for both packing and general assembly, which includes cleaning and packaging materials, loading items into containers, weighing and labeling the items appropriately. Additionally, this role will be responsible for following assembly instructions and correctly placing and attaching parts to create sub-assemblies or finished products. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The person filling this position will have a familiarity with working in a production environment and will be required to follow detailed instructions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of manufacturing or assembly experience.
• Excellent manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
• Able to follow detailed written and oral instructions.
• Experienced in a production environment.
• Must be efficient and careful not to damage items.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to organize items.

Responsibilities

• Stacks and piles finished goods into containers.
• Wraps items securely and package them for shipping.
• Cleans and prepare containers for packing.
• Inspects containers to ensure they are damage free.
• Weighs and label items appropriately.
• Maintains detailed records of materials and shipments.
• Ensures all packed items make it to the loading area.
• Drills, cuts, and screws components and parts.
• Performs quality checks on products and parts.
• Performs routine area and equipment cleaning.
• Consults with supervisors to plan or review work activities.
• Other related duties as assigned.
