About The Position

Paragon Medical, a business of AMETEK, is a medical device manufacturing partner that provides end-to-end solutions from concept through final production. The Packaging role is primarily responsible for packaging products, retrieving inventory from racked locations, and receiving materials into the business software system. The position also supports production packaging, inventory activities, material handling, and work-order issuance. It is full-time, scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime potential.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
0–3 years of experience.
Ability and willingness to use AI tools appropriately and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.
Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull 45–50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Package products and enter purchase orders for outside services.
Create advanced shipping notices for applicable customers.
Identify non-conforming parts and initiate the Quality Hold Form (QHF) process when necessary.
Assist with packaging production.
Receive and verify direct and indirect materials.
Safely load and unload trucks using a forklift and operate a forklift as needed.
Prepare for and participate in physical inventory.
Issue work orders, which may involve operating a saw, retrieving raw material, and issuing components.
Perform additional duties as directed by a supervisor or manager, including assisting in other areas as needed.
Use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and cost efficiency; identify appropriate use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.
