About The Position
Step into a day on our Test Line in Cedar Rapids. Your shift begins at 7:00 am in a clean, climate-controlled environment. By mid-morning, you’ve set up a large-scale consumer packaging line, verified tolerances, and run first-article tests. After lunch, a pneumatic fault appears; you trace it through schematics, isolate the component, and have the line humming again by 2:00 pm. At 3:30 pm, you hand off a stable process — another day elevating quality, safety, and uptime.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- A.A.S. in Industrial Maintenance Technology (2-year) or 2–5 years of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience (preferred)
- WorkKeys National Career Readiness Certificate — Silver level or higher (preferred)

Responsibilities
- Set up and test large commercial consumer packaging equipment to verify performance and quality.
- Troubleshoot electromechanical and pneumatic issues to restore optimal operation.
- Interpret engineering blueprints and electrical/pneumatic schematics to guide diagnostics and set-ups.
