The role As a Packaging Technician, you will operate and maintain Vale’s packaging equipment, ensuring that products are packaged to specification, on time, and at high quality.

Requirements

Legally authorized to work in the United States
1+ year of experience operating packaging or manufacturing equipment
Ability to follow detailed SOPs and technical instructions
Mechanical aptitude with an interest in equipment troubleshooting
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and adjust packaging machinery to meet production specifications
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of packaging equipment
Conduct in-line quality inspections and remove non-conforming products
Complete packaging records, shift logs, and quality documentation accurately
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized packaging area
Communicate downtime, maintenance needs, or quality issues to the production supervisor
Support changeovers between product SKUs efficiently
