  • Manual dexterity for using hands and fingers to touch, handle, feel, and pick objects.
  • Comfort and capability of working under all specified conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to daily packaging schedules to ensure efficiency goals are met.
  • Verify that all working areas, tools, processing equipment, and packaging/labeling components are in good working order before starting each batch.
  • Ensure all packaging, labeling, and data reporting activities comply with TerrAscend quality and safety standards, regulatory compliance, and food safety requirements.
  • Safely operate, clean, calibrate, and maintain equipment including manual, semi-automatic, and automatic liquid filling machines, capping machines, label applicators, label printers, and scales according to SOPs.
  • Produce accurate data for all required batch, equipment, quality, inventory, and seed-to-sale documentation.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of TerrAscend process SOPs, work instructions, and controlled document revisions.
  • Manage inventory of packaging and labeling components, and finished products by maintaining accurate records.
  • Adhere to safe chemical handling and disposal procedures as defined by SOPs and MSDS.
  • Ensure personal and others' safety by maintaining a safe and orderly environment.
  • Support the Packaging Lead daily to ensure goals and deadlines are met.
  • Drive productivity and cost-effective packaging processes and develop innovative plans for optimization.
  • Work nights and weekends as needed to complete critical tasks.
