The ideal Packaging Tech is a patient individual that is good with their hands and mentally sharp. While this job is not very labor-intensive, it requires the mental fortitude to sit or stand in one place all day. The packagers must package products as quickly as they can being careful to gently handle the product. This role is critically important in ensuring strict quality control standards for the product we send to the stores.

• Strong organizational and follow-through skills
• Capable of learning/performing all basic necessary asked of the general staff.
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to stand or sit for long periods

• Operate with integrity and honesty
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and willingness to assist in any additional side task
• Must have reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Efficiently package product
• Responsible for accurately weighing and recording weights
• Responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the staging area while performing packaging
• Works with efficiency and maintains a positive attitude
• Gets along with teammates
• Responsible for maintaining a quality product
• Communicate known issues to the management team to ensure a smooth flow of operations within the company
• Trimming, weighing, labeling, sealing, and managing packaged material
