The Packaging Specialist will be responsible for properly packaging, labeling, and stacking products. This role supports quality assurance activities and ensures timely completion of all required production documentation. The overall goal of this position is to assist in preparing products for shipment. Requirements

Regular attendance is an essential part of this function.
Must be able to safely operate a pallet jack.

Nice To Haves

Experience in packaging, labeling, and stacking products.
Familiarity with quality assurance activities and production documentation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Understanding of GMP expectations and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Performing manual packaging tasks such as applying labels, applying lids, packing into cases, keeping packaging equipment loaded with blank packaging items.
Stacking and palletizing boxes of finished goods.
Taking the initiative to organize and accurately perform all job functions required to meet volume and quality of product scheduled.
Communicating clearly with others in process and support positions.
Safely operating a pallet jack to move materials.
Performing area-wide and system cleaning to meet GMP expectations.
Adhering to all safety, operating, AIB, and GMP procedures.
Notifying management of any potentially dangerous safety hazards.
Training co-workers in operation of system and procedures as directed.
Adhering to good manufacturing practices (GMP's).
