About The Position

The Packaging Associate operates computerized vision equipment to inspect and package products for shipment, including labeling and palletizing. The role focuses on operating equipment and packaging parts for inventory or shipment while following safety and quality policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience; warehouse experience is preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and maintain records as required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Mechanical skills, decision-making, teamwork, problem-solving, communication, reading, basic math, and computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Warehouse experience.
• Forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Follow all quality policies and procedures.
• Operate equipment at the targeted rate and validate that it is operating properly.
• Clean equipment between jobs and perform required preventative maintenance.
• Assist with equipment setup.
• Load unsorted product and remove non-conforming parts.
• Inspect sorted product and package conforming parts.
• Box, label, and palletize parts.
• Maintain production records and lot control.
