About The Position

Asahi Beer USA / Octopi Brewery is hiring Packaging Specialists to operate packaging lines at its beverage production facility in Waunakee, Wisconsin. Octopi brews and packages beer, seltzers, ready-to-drink beverages, and sodas for clients nationwide, and is the U.S. production home of Asahi Super Dry. Packaging Specialists work across bottle, can, variety pack, and kegging lines to package products and keep production moving. The role includes hands-on machine operation, with opportunities to cross-train and grow. Multiple shifts are available.

The position is full-time and non-exempt. The base rate is $22.00 per hour. Additional shift differentials are listed for shifts outside first shift: $3.00 per hour for second shift, $4.00 per hour for third shift, $5.75 per hour for weekend day, and $7.75 per hour for weekend night.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Able to stand for more than eight hours in a fast-paced production environment.
• Able to lift 55 pounds and move 165 pounds as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• Prior machine operation or packaging experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate bottle, can, variety pack, and kegging lines, including changeovers, CIP, and routine maintenance.
• Confirm the correct packaging mix and volume before each fill.
• Record packaging run data and identify process issues.
• Pull samples and take measurements to monitor product quality.
• Safely operate a forklift to move product between production and storage.
