About The Position

Carpenter & Paterson, Inc. is hiring a full-time Packaging & Route Associate to work out of its warehouses in Donora, Pennsylvania. The role supports order fulfillment and processing, shipping and receiving, inventory, and serves as an alternate delivery driver. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The associate manages customer and vendor paperwork; loads and unloads trucks; pulls orders and prepares them for shipment; receives inventory and stores products in designated areas; maintains a clean, orderly, healthy, and safe work environment; and safely operates delivery trucks. The position also includes other related duties as assigned.

Carpenter & Paterson manufactures and distributes pipe hangers and supports for commercial and industrial applications. The company has operated since 1913 and has five locations in the United States.

Requirements

• Have a clean driving record.
• Have basic math skills.
• Be able to operate materials-handling equipment, including hand trucks, pallet jacks, standard forklifts, and order-picker forklifts when needed.
• Be willing to learn warehouse products.
• Be self-motivated, punctual, and courteous.
• Have a team-oriented approach, with communication, collaboration, and follow-through.
• Be able to work quickly and efficiently without constant supervision.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a similar work environment.
• Experience driving a 20-foot or 14-foot stake-body truck in Pittsburgh and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities
