About The Position

Barilla is seeking dependable and motivated Packaging Machine Operators to support its food manufacturing production lines. The role operates and monitors automated packaging equipment, helping ensure pasta is packaged to quality and food safety standards. Operators perform machine setups and changeovers, inspect products, document production and quality information, and work with Maintenance, Quality, and Production teams to keep lines running smoothly. The work requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred.
• Food manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated packaging equipment and production lines.
• Perform machine setups, adjustments, and product changeovers.
• Inspect products for quality, accurate coding, and proper sealing.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate concerns when needed.
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic preventative maintenance.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
• Follow food safety, GMP, quality, and workplace safety requirements.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Work with Maintenance, Quality, and Production teams to keep the line running smoothly.
