About The Position

Barilla is seeking dependable and motivated Packaging Machine Operators to support its food manufacturing packaging team. The role helps keep production lines moving and ensures packaged products meet quality and food safety standards. Operators work with automated packaging equipment, perform routine production and quality tasks, and collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, and Production teams. The posting lists pay of $23.59 per hour, plus a $1.75 per hour night shift differential.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• Food manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated packaging equipment and production lines.
• Perform machine set-ups, adjustments, and product changeovers.
• Inspect products for quality, accurate coding, and proper sealing.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate concerns when needed.
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic preventative maintenance.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
• Follow food safety, GMP, quality, and workplace safety requirements.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Work with Maintenance, Quality, and Production teams to keep the line running smoothly.
