This is a fulltime night shift position working on a consistent 7:00 pm - 7:00 am rotating schedule. The role involves safely and efficiently operating packaging equipment and machinery, performing troubleshooting and minor repairs, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The Packaging Operator will closely monitor packaging quality, keep detailed records, perform set-up activities, and conduct cleaning duties. This position requires meeting production goals, minimizing product shrink and downtime, and maintaining levels of consumables. The operator will also participate in shift exchanges, identify Critical Control Points (CCP), and follow Good Lab Practices and safety SOPs. Additionally, the role may provide limited work direction to Case Stackers and requires adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures. The position involves working with dairy and nut products, as well as other related ingredients and allergens. Safety is paramount, requiring the stopping of unsafe acts, obeying safety rules, and reporting hazards.
