About The Position

Ascend Staffing is hiring a Packaging Operator in South Houston, Texas, for a temporary assignment paying $14 per hour. The role involves packaging bulk materials, palletizing products, connecting and disconnecting railcars, and performing plant cleanup as needed. Work is hands-on and physically active, and may take place outdoors year-round, including in hot weather. No previous experience is required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Spanish is required; English is a plus.
• Able to work outdoors year-round, especially in hot weather.
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Able to work Monday through Friday, with some weekends and occasional early arrivals or late stays.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical warehouse tasks throughout the workday.
• Able to follow safety procedures and supervisor instructions.
• No previous experience is required.
