About The Position

Boulevard Brewing Company is hiring a full-time Packaging Operator for repacking products into mix packs at its distribution center in Three Trails Industrial Park in Kansas City, Missouri. Packaging Operators work as part of a team and follow quality procedures to produce finished products correctly, reduce rework and production delays, and deliver high-quality products to internal and external customers. The typical schedule is approximately 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., with a 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m. schedule as needed. Overtime of at least two hours may be required, and Saturday work may be needed. The role involves manual handling and repetitive work, along with keeping work areas clean, organized, and safe.

Requirements

An eye for detail.
Ability to continuously lift under 20 pounds and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work a flexible schedule when necessary, including the alternate 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m. schedule and Saturdays as needed.
Work with integrity and ethically.
Ability to continuously stand or walk.
Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs, and lift frequently.
Ability to continuously lift 20 pounds and lift 40 pounds as needed.
Ability to perform repetitive motions in support of line operations.

Responsibilities

Repack products to produce mix packs.
Unpack full cans by hand onto the rework table, place finished can packs into trays, and stack beer trays (cases) onto pallets.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and maintained so production can proceed.
Follow company safety policies and avoid operating equipment without proper training.
Notify the packaging manager or line lead when anyone is acting unsafely.
Perform periodic visual checks of finished products using the quality checklist.
Be ready to perform duties by the scheduled start time and be available for at least two hours of overtime if required.
Inform the packaging lead when proper materials are unavailable to avoid production interruptions.
Notify the packaging lead of equipment maintenance issues.
Notify the packaging manager immediately of issues with other employees.
