About The Position

McKee Foods is seeking a Packaging Operator to join its Production Team. The role supports smooth production-line operations by setting up and operating packaging equipment, changing products, troubleshooting minor equipment issues, and ensuring products are packaged accurately. The operator checks printed codes and labels, records production data, helps train team members, maintains a clean and organized work area, and follows safety, quality, hygiene, and attendance standards. This is an on-site third-shift position at Line 306, Plant 3, in Gentry, Arkansas. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 10:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Pay is $20.47–$23.82 per hour, plus a $2-per-hour premium for third-shift hours.

Responsibilities

Set up machines, switch between products, and operate equipment.
Check printed codes and labels to ensure they are clear and accurate.
Troubleshoot and fix minor issues to avoid delays and reduce waste.
Help train new team members and employees transferring to the department.
Enter accurate production data into company systems.
Keep the work area clean and tidy through daily and weekly cleanup duties.
Communicate clearly with team members and other departments.
Follow the attendance policy and bring a strong effort to work each day.
Practice good hygiene and keep the workspace organized.
Remain committed to personal and team safety, as well as product safety.
