About The Position

Packaging Operators sort, assemble, inspect, and pack products according to company and customer specifications, ensuring finished goods meet quality standards and are properly prepared for shipment. Employees are expected to make quality products that exceed customer expectations and to initiate recommendations that resolve problems and continuously improve quality processes, products, and workplace culture. The role involves working independently and as part of a team, taking pride in producing clean, functional products for customers.

Requirements

Ability to follow basic instructions and safety guidelines.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily.
Ability to work independently and in teams, including color sorting and visually inspecting products.
Ability to stand for 12 hours, with breaks.
Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required.
Eye-hand coordination to assemble and trim parts safely; ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
Close vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Ability to use proper and safe lifting techniques to maneuver and lift up to 25 pounds.

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

Obtain, sort, trim, clean, assemble, and pack products according to specifications.
Use computer systems to locate information and print labels.
Ensure packaging meets shipment and customer requirements.
Inspect parts and cartons throughout the packing process to ensure quality.
Stack cartons on pallets by hand, secure them with banding, and label skids.
Notify supervisors of required repairs or issues with packaging machinery.
Accurately record quantities, dates, and initials for tracking purposes.
Assemble cabinets, KeepBox lids, and pack dividers; operate single-part stations independently.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety guidelines.
Work with others to solve problems, complete tasks, and meet shipping schedules.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
