About The Position

Ashton of Wildwood, a Sonida Senior Living community in Wildwood, Florida, provides quality care to residents in assisted living and memory care. The Nursing Aide assists residents with daily activities and other care while encouraging self-care and independence, and treats residents with dignity and respect. The role is a day shift position from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Preferred knowledge and experience in nursing or senior living, home health, or a similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with instrumental activities of daily living, medication assistance, treatments, and other care while encouraging residents' self-care and independence.
• Escort residents within the building and outside as needed.
• Assist with setting up and serving meals and cleaning up afterward.
• May assist with planning and executing regularly scheduled resident activities.
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times.
