Packaging Operator Assistant - Wenatchee Plant
About The Position
To operate the Bagging Packaging Area and all automated packaging equipment at maximum efficiency to produce safe quality food product that meets customer specifications. All of the following are to be performed while adhering to Tree Top operational policies, safety rules, procedures and good manufacturing practices. It is the responsibility of every employee at Tree Top Inc. to report food safety and food quality problems or risks to personnel with the authority to initiate action against these said possible risks. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job. This is a representative sample--not to imply a complete listing of all responsibilities and tasks.
Requirements
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, reach, feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Ability to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, talk, hear, taste or smell.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
- Ability to occasionally climb and balance.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision for testing, distance vision, color vision for testing and seeing color, peripheral vision to observe two processes, depth perception for working with equipment and the ability to adjust focus for seeing defective material.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Responsibilities
- Assist Operator set up Process to meet customer specifications.
- Assist in operation of bagging line.
- Assist operator in monitoring and controlling product quality.
- Practice GMP and food safety requirements.
- Communicate effectively.
