About The Position

At Smith+Nephew, the Packager produces high-quality inventory in a clean room according to product demand planning. The role works closely with other operators, materials, and receiving to ensure components are available for production. The employee builds and packages pre-sterile inventory for shipment to the sterilizer and for demonstration inventory, while ensuring quality and compliance in company processes.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills.
Ability to stand and lift repeatedly throughout the workday.
Ability to use instruments or equipment safely.
Ability to work well with others.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a clean room setting with medical devices.

Responsibilities

Produce all products in the assigned area.
Maintain a secure and organized work area.
Ensure materials, labels, and other designated items do not leave the assigned work area without proper paperwork.
Safely maintain and operate production equipment within established guidelines.
Keep the work area clean and neat, including maintaining equipment cleanliness and product safety.
Complete and understand documentation required by Smith+Nephew quality and compliance policies and procedures.
Work collaboratively with the team by communicating, listening, and participating in continuous improvement of products and processes.
