The Packaging Manufacturing Technician is a highly skilled technical operations role responsible for operating, optimizing, troubleshooting, performing equipment changeovers, and executing designated Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities on advanced, high-speed packaging equipment within the PIM manufacturing environment. This position serves as the primary technical owner of assigned equipment and is accountable for equipment reliability, operational performance, changeover execution, preventive maintenance completion, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Packaging Manufacturing Technician works closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, Quality, and Continuous Improvement teams to maximize equipment uptime, improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), reduce losses, and support long-term reliability strategies. This role requires advanced technical knowledge of equipment operation, mechanical systems, equipment setup, troubleshooting, maintenance procedures, and production processes. The Packaging Manufacturing Technician is expected to proactively identify opportunities for improvement, support equipment upgrades and validations, and serve as a technical resource for operators and technicians. When assigned as the Tishma Operator, the Packaging Manufacturing Technician serves as the designated Line Lead and maintains responsibility for coordinating operational activities on the production line.
