Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, we are currently seeking a Line Assembler for a full-time, permanent position

Requirements

  • A completed DEP (Vocational Diploma) in Electromechanics, Industrial Mechanics, or Industrial Maintenance
  • A strong team player with effective communication skills
  • Positive and proactive
  • A fast learner
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and constantly changing environment
  • Autonomous and resourceful, able to work with minimal direct supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably on packaging/filling lines (an asset)
  • Knowledge of product conveying systems, marking/coding technologies, sensors, and pneumatic actuators (an asset).

Responsibilities

  • Work on multiple pieces of equipment and production lines in collaboration with operational teams (team leaders, operators, supervisors, etc.)
  • Perform changeovers on our various production lines and ensure proper operation
  • Install the required change parts according to the product being packaged
  • Adjust equipment to achieve desired performance levels (speed, quality, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot and intervene in the event of breakdowns or production issues
  • Occasionally perform cleaning and sanitation of parts
  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment
  • Participate in improvement projects to enhance equipment safety, quality, and productivity.
