Packaging Line Assembler / Mechanic

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, we are currently seeking a Line Assembler for a full-time, permanent position
Requirements
- A completed DEP (Vocational Diploma) in Electromechanics, Industrial Mechanics, or Industrial Maintenance
- A strong team player with effective communication skills
- Positive and proactive
- A fast learner
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and constantly changing environment
- Autonomous and resourceful, able to work with minimal direct supervision.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably on packaging/filling lines (an asset)
- Knowledge of product conveying systems, marking/coding technologies, sensors, and pneumatic actuators (an asset).
Responsibilities
- Work on multiple pieces of equipment and production lines in collaboration with operational teams (team leaders, operators, supervisors, etc.)
- Perform changeovers on our various production lines and ensure proper operation
- Install the required change parts according to the product being packaged
- Adjust equipment to achieve desired performance levels (speed, quality, etc.)
- Troubleshoot and intervene in the event of breakdowns or production issues
- Occasionally perform cleaning and sanitation of parts
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment
- Participate in improvement projects to enhance equipment safety, quality, and productivity.
