About The Position

Leads and assists with packaging activities of production engaged in meeting specific marketing, production, shipping, and cost requirements.

Requirements

• Oracle credentials
• Keys and code to the facility
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• 1+ years of relevant work experience

Responsibilities

• Supports the supervisor with daily needs
• Supports the supervisor with staff
• Ability to manage the production area and staff when the supervisor isn’t present
• Trains and assists workers in warehouse activities
• Inspects work in progress and completed work for accuracy
• Evaluates and assists in the development and implementation of organization policies, practices, procedures, and attainment of operating goals
• Control workflow on the production floor
• Advise Material Handlers on priorities, work orders
• Understand and manage work orders, computer, and scale questions
• Clear understanding of how to run the Box On Demand machine
• Ability to operate and process RAW orders
• Ability to: run all cells, understand dispatch, daily needs, and operate a WAV, sit-down/stand-up fork truck
• Basic understanding of the Daily Report
• Be able to explain and demonstrate proper packaging techniques
• Signs off on employee training sheets
• Ability to open and close the facility when needed
