About The Position

The role of this position is to assist in the management of all activities associated with the filling/packaging of products. This position reports to the Packaging Supervisor and is located in Johnson City, TN. The schedule is Sunday - Thursday 11PM-7:30AM.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent with 1-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing facility
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with people from all backgrounds
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills
Basic math skills
Consistent and punctual attendance
Proficient in using standard computer software and hardware
Must be quality driven with good attention to detail but also be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be available to respond to critical shift issues outside of scheduled hours on an as-needed basis

Responsibilities

Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel in following policies and procedures
Leads the packaging/filling rooms and coordinate activities of workers engaged in filling and packaging products
Evaluate and improve work processes resolving problem areas
Ensure product quality through a commitment to SOP adherence and training of staff
Assist in staffing the production areas and ensure employees demonstrate a commitment to maximizing efficiency and productivity
Reviews batch record entries
Calculate yield for finished goods
Keep production process flowing smoothly
Conform to all cGMP procedures and Standard Operating Procedures
Other duties as assigned
